17.04.08 - Eyeconomy Appoints Collison as Head of Operations
Eyeconomy|NASH, has appointed Ricardo Collison as its new Head of Operations. Previously Operations Director of UK media agency, Walker Media Ltd, Ricardo brings a wealth of hands-on experience in the design, development, marketing and tracking of online media to his new role at Eyeconomy|NASH. His appointment is part of a wider planned expansion taking place across Eyeconomy|NASH’s parent company, Media Corporation plc.

“2008 is shaping up to be a period of extensive growth for Eyeconomy|NASH,” said Mark Butt, joint Managing Director of Eyeconomy|NASH. “Ricardo has exceptional skills in process development and will be instrumental in the continuation of our strengthening position in today’s online advertising marketplace.”

Ricardo’s previous role involved the implementation of numerous adserving solutions and bid management tools. He also integrated adserving solutions with web analytics tools and conducted several behavioural targeting solutions across both search and display media.

25.03.08 - Eyeconomy and NASH Join Forces
Eyeconomy has announced that they are merging and rebranding as Eyeconomy|NASH. Both companies are already owned by Media Corporation plc (NASH was acquired by Media Corp in December 2007) and constitute the online advertising division of the listed company. Its other division is online publishing.

The Eyeconomy|NASH rebrand reflects the buoyant state of online advertising in 2008. The sector is seeing rapid growth compared with other advertising mediums, which are experiencing a period of decline. According to the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB), online advertising grew the most, by 41.3%, and its market share was up from 10.5% in H1 (first half) 2006 to 14.7% in H1 2007. Notably, a record online advertising spend of £1,334.3m in H1 2007 is set to rise by the end of 2008 [source: IAB Online Adspend Factsheet - H1 2007].

24.03.08 - Eyeconomy Appoints Sellars as Head of Sales
Eyeconomy has appointed Christian Sellars as its new Head of Sales. Previously Sales Manager of Channel 4’s advertising network, 4DS, Christian brings extensive experience within the sales industry, as well as a fresh approach to customer-focused strategic thinking. His appointment is part of a wider planned expansion taking place across Eyeconomy's parent company, Media Corporation plc.

“Eyeconomy has ambitious plans for growth in 2008 to maximise on the rapid growth in the online advertising sector,” said Mark Butt, joint Managing Director of Eyeconomy. “Consequently, our business is expanding to take advantage of this growth and we are expecting to double our sales division to 40 staff by the end of this year. Christian is a talented sales manager with enormous knowledge and experience within the online advertising sector. We envisage that Christian’s expertise, commitment and energy will rub off on his sales team; the contacts Christian has built up in his career will also prove invaluable to our business in the future.”

Prior to his appointment at Eyeconomy and his role at Channel 4’s 4DS, Christian spent three and a half years working for Media Run, helping to set up the company with its founder Adam Murray and later going on to head their sales team.
